About Beth Lea

Based in Cromer, North Norfolk

I have been teaching Yoga, Pilates and Fitness in the North Norfolk area for over 20 years, both at a local leisure centre and in local community centres.  For the last 10 years, however, I have concentrated on teaching Pilates and Yoga at Sheringham Community Centre.  More recently, in 2024, I started a few classes at Cromer Community Centre.

My classes are all friendly and non-competitive, a space where everyone can achieve their own personal goals.  All my classes are drop-in, so there is no need to book.  I teach a wide range of ages and abilities, using options and modifications, so everyone has an option to work at their own level.

I  qualified as a Shiatsu practitioner in 1997 and this gives me increased knowledge of anatomy and health disorders.  I’m really interested in traditional Chinese philosophy and that particular way of looking and life and health, and I try to incorporate this into my classes where possible. This gives an extra sense of equilibrium to the practice and participants learn life/relaxation skills to use in everyday life.

I currently live in Cromer and enjoy walking my dogs and spending time with family and friends.  I also enjoy attending yoga and pilates classes, I’m so fortunate that my job is also my hobby!!
